When architecture meets natural materials, even the smallest detail deserves deliberate care. For the Katzenbach residential project, Ardaena was responsible for the complete modeling of the timber façade, including metal flashings around windows and openings.
Using Inventor, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Python, we developed a highly accurate and largely automated parametric model. We produced precise installation drawings and used custom algorithms to estimate timber quantities efficiently. Despite working remotely, close coordination with the client ensured the project was completed smoothly and successfully.
